Lest We Forget- Remembrance Day Ceremony at NEKEC
On November 10th I was invited to the Northeast Kings Education Centre in Canning for their Remembrance Day Ceremony. There were many special guests including Veterans from Coldbrook and Kentville Legions and local Cadets as well as Lt. Cabot key note speaker from 14 Wing Greenwood. The NEKEC school band did a great job performing music through out the ceremony and the Journalism 12 students had a great video presentation. There was also a reception in the Library where folks were able to view the winning artwork and poetry in the annual Remembrance Day contest sponsored by the Legion.
