Tree Trimming and Carol Singing at Acadia

Acadia hosted their annual holiday event at the beautiful KC Irving Centre. I brought my Mum, Evelyn Lawson, along and we enjoyed trimming the tree in the lobby and listening the Acadia women's choir sing carols by the fire place in the main lounge while sipping hot chocolate and punch and snacking on ginger bread and shortbread cookies.

I can't tell you how much I love this building. What a wonderful legacy the Irvings have created for Acadia and the community to enjoy.

Apple Wicks Open House

I dropped by 10 Gaspereau Ave in Wolfville for Apple Wicks Holiday Open House. Apple Wicks is a wonderful place where all of the items are handmade by talented artisans with special needs.

Coronation Ceremony for Miss Nova Scotia Galaxy

I was invited to MC the Miss Nova Scotia Galaxy Coronation. So I got all gussied up, jumped in the AVR Cruiser and headed to the Coldbrook Lions Den. It was great to see so much community support for Olivia Brown's Coronation and Amanda Kirkpatrick's last moments as Miss NS Galaxy.
