Xmas Home Tour in support of the SPCA

The 1st annual Xmas Home Tour took place at 65 Oakdene Ave (thank you Margot) and showcased the decorating skills of Paula Huntley. Every room of the home was immaculately decorated for the holiday season. There were so many beautiful displays it was difficult to take pictures of it all but here is a small sample of this beautiful home tour. All the proceeds from tickets sold ($10 each) went to Kings County SPCA and Walk for the Cure (for Cancer). My Mum and I enjoyed the tour and it supported some great causes! Looking forward to next years Xmas tour. I hope you get lots of decor ideas for your home.
Merry Xmas!

Tree Trimming and Carol Singing at Acadia

Acadia hosted their annual holiday event at the beautiful KC Irving Centre. I brought my Mum, Evelyn Lawson, along and we enjoyed trimming the tree in the lobby and listening the Acadia women's choir sing carols by the fire place in the main lounge while sipping hot chocolate and punch and snacking on ginger bread and shortbread cookies.

I can't tell you how much I love this building. What a wonderful legacy the Irvings have created for Acadia and the community to enjoy.
